I’ve received a few questions about our counted cross stitch patterns lately, so I thought I’d answer those questions here to make it clear to everyone what is contained in our Pdf that you receive after purchasing such a pattern. Firstly, there is some information about the chart specification as stitch count, finished size when sewn on 14-count Aida or 28-count even weave, and stitches used (whole cross stitch, half cross-stitch, back stitch lines, french knots etc.) Secondly, the PDF includes a full-colour chart with symbols and backstitch, a full-colour chart with symbols without backstitch, a black-and-white chart with symbols and backstitch, a black-and-white chart with symbols without backstitch and a key for DMC stranded thread as in the photos below.
