New Pattern

Winter has come, and we have had had -15 Celsius degrees this night. Today is a sunny and frosty day. Small birds like tits and willows in the majority are outside in my bird feeder on a spruce tree. Bearded Reedling set up in our Etsy shop StitchersLand. Thus I am glad to present you with our new counted cross stitch pattern from Christmas Bubble Birds series.

What is more, we have a 10% Boxing Day sale on all our items.

Finished Stitching

The end of the year is full of completed stitching from our customers. Everyone sums up the year and publishes their finished work. That’s what I’m going to use. Today is an example of how you can practically use cross-stitch embroidery. Thank you, Katia, for sharing your gorgeous work with us!

New Patterns

Two new cross stitch patterns are in StitchersLand now. Both charts are Birds Christmas Bubbles and are red. As a rule, European customers prefer The Bullfinch chart, Americans and Canadians choose the Cardinal. Which one is your favourite? I can’t decide which one to stitch first. My heart says Bullfinch; my business requires Cardinal. Maybe I’ll start them both at the same time 🙂

Cat Bookmark

Once my bookmarks were very popular, but after the change of the shop, they seem to have disappeared from the order list. For this reason, I was happy when I got such a local order for this tabby black and white cat. Today the owner received it, and I can show it to you. The cat was crochet with Kaja 15 yarn from Ariadna, using Clover hook No 1,25. It is 100% cotton thread. The eyes were cut from white felt, then sewn with green DMC thread. Each cat, made with this method, is different. The expression of its face depends on the eyes. Sometimes they are serious cats, even though they smile; the other time, they look mean, as cats can be. Anyway, I am sure that each of them pleases its owner.

Shipping

Today I’ve sent yellow daffodils garland to Howick, Auckland, New Zealand for the first time. Even Post office workers noticed: “We were not there yet”. And they asked, how long the registered letter will fly there? What can I answer? – I don’t know. Firstly, it is the Holiday season, secondly – COVID season, thirdly – I haven’t sent any order to New Zealand before. Well, we shall see 🙂 and I hope that the customer will be very patient.
