Обычно под конец лета все начинают думать о Рождестве. Наверное потому, что это один из любимейших праздников года, к ему надо готовиться загодя, тщательно продумывая украшение дома. Вышивальщицы, как правило, летом начинают вышивать что-то с Рождественской тематикой. Вот и в этом году я получила преждложение присоединиться к совместнику “Рождество дома” по проекту Durene Jones, моего любимого дизайнера. Пока что у меня готовы только 2 комнаты – мансарда и ванная, но их будет больше :).

Вот такие закладки появились в нашем магазине сегодня. Первая – розовая такса со своей любимой косточкой – уже известна нашим покупателям, но вторая – оранжевая и с пауком – совершенно новая, создалась совершенно спонтанно. Она просто поселилась у меня в голове во время перелета из Ньюкастл в Варшаву. Наверное, мне надо летать чаще … связана она, конечно, с Хеллоуином, а следующая закладка будет уже с Рождеством 🙂
Peronalized postcard from Flowers of the Month series – Marigold. It was difficult to stitch due to the backstitch, but the card was worth it.
Next project by Serafima Abramova Sal “Summer Mouse”. I stitched it on white 14 count Aida, using DMC thread. A bit complicated : 105 x 75 stitches, 22 thread colours plus their blends. Techniques: the whole cross stitch, half cross stitch, petit point cross stitch and back stitch. I enjoyed stitching this lovely creature, but frog visited me almost all the time. Maybe because I was the number 13 in this Sal 🙂
This Sal was free for Lakeside Needlecraft Sal Stitch Along Group on Facebook members. It was created by Durene Jones and became an exciting adventure. I enjoyed stitching it.
Совершенно неожиданно на моей любимой стороне был объявлен очередной короткий совместник : каждую пятницу публиковался один фрагмент. Мы назвали это “отдыхалочкой” по сравнению с годовыми совместниками. Как и каждый проект Дюрен Джонс он стал приятным приключением. Типично английский “five o’clock”, как это принято считать у нас.
