Quaker Ball Sal

One more part of Quaker Ball is ready – a beautiful Dragonfly. Backstitch brings it up to life. The first two photos were taken by my mobile phone camera, the last one – with the help of Instagram filters. That’s why it is so heavy going to take the right photo of your product.

New Pattern in Progress

New cross stitch Christmas tree ornaments Icicles in progress. They are like old-world Christmas decorations or festive Christmas decor. There will be not only a cross stitch pattern but detailed assembly instruction too. I am wondering whether to stitch them on Aida or plastic canvas?

Quaker Ball

One more part of Quaker Ball is ready. It is a beautiful bird, which resembles totem birds of the Indians of North America, Alaska or Canada. The difference is that their birds most often have spread wings. This one of mine has lowered wings and round heads, so it looks like an Owl. Here is the link to the article “The History and Significance of Totem Poles”, and in one of the pictures, there is a bird with lowered wings. https://www.akwildlife.org/news/the-history-and-significance-of-totem-poles

Fall Items

Autumn came, and I changed the featured items in the shop. We have lots of autumn patterns, some of them are popular, like the mouse and pumpkin – a great Halloween chart, while others are somehow less popular, as the pumpkins, different in size and colour. You can cross-stitch them as individual elements on plastic canvas, or they can decorate a whole pillow or a panel on the wall. It all depends on your imagination.

Cross Stitch Supply

The next kit I would like to show you produced in Russia, in the city of Veliky Novgorod by M.P.Studia. The designer is Angelika Ivanova. The kit has no name, but we call it Blue Cats. The kit includes a colour chart, “Gamma” mouline threads (32 colours), 18-count white Aida fabric, and a needle. I started stitching this kit a long time ago, but I didn’t go for the colour pattern (although I prefer coloured charts, this does not suit me). I didn’t enjoy the canvas is too stiff; I wasn’t fond of the threads (I used to DMC), so I often had to rip crosses put, and I decided to put this set for later. I don’t know when that later will come.
