Summer Cross Stitch Book

I’d like to share with you the joy – yesterday I received my Lakesideneedlecraft Summer Cross Stitch Book 2020 from Kate Worthington, the owner of https://www.lakesideneedlecraft.co.uk/

There are 54 exclusive cross stitch charts from famous worldwide designers in the book. All projects are beautiful. However, I am especially interested in blackwork designs, that I haven’t tried before.

What is more, I received two new lovely needle minders with the book. I always order needle holders from Lakeside Needlecraft, and now I have two cats, a dog, a bird, and an apple in natural wooden colours.

Bear Slavic Horoscope

Bear is the last, 12th Slavic Horoscope sign at our shop.

The bear is the owner of the forest, but not the king of animals, not the king of all forests, steppes, deserts and mountains… just because the Bear was born lazy. What is more, he knows it and he got used to it.

It is considered to be the main in the forest because, despite its power, it is surprisingly simple and careless, indulgent to the weak, does not offend the small things, and is satisfied with the small things: to get honey, to lie in the raspberry thickets. We can only envy how cleverly he is arranged in his den, where he sleeps all winter.

Garden Sal

After finishing this great Garden Sal by Durene Jones design, I was looking for a suitable square frame for a long time and could not find it. Since I really wanted to have this stitching on my desktop in front of me, I decided to frame it i a hoop until I could find a suitable frame for it. What do you think about this way of finishing cross stitch projects?

Dogs in Crosstitch

There are two Dog cross stitch patterns at our shop. One of them is new and this is Cane Corso, often called Sicilian Branchiero, counted cross stitch chart. These dogs are not only smart, intelligent and trainable, but assertive and confident at the same time. Cane Corso is a peerless protector. The Corso’s lineage goes back to ancient Roman times, and the breed’s name roughly translates from the Latin as “bodyguard dog.” They are loyal to their human but also assertive and willful, and can end up owning an unwitting owner, so responsible breeding and early socialization with people and other dogs is vital. The second dog in stitches at the shop is Russian Greyhound or Russian Borzoi – coursing and hunting dog. Which one do you like more?
