Fall Leaves Bunting

A new Autumn colours garland appears at my shop on Etsy on the 1st of October. Crochet of yellow, orange, first grass green and dark green 100% mercerized cotton yarn. I like these soft colours so much that I decided to add the bunting to my wall decoration. It doesn’t matter that stitched egg relates to Easter. However, it matches all the decor by its colour, in my opinion.

New Autumn Garland

The trees outside my window are green, the sky is blue, but autumn is already in the air. It’s getting cool, the wind is blowing hard, and there are colourful maple leaves underfoot. That’s probably why my next garland is in autumnal colours. As each new garland, this one becomes my favourite, which warms the soul with its delicate shades of yellow. The Fall bunting will be available at CrochetCabinetCrafts on Etsy this weekend.

CrochetCabinetCrafts Bestsellers

Our best selling items in CrochetCabinetCrafts are garlands. Today I decided to check which buntings are our bestsellers. So, customers mostly like and buy our Flowers garland – it sold 11 times. The next is Daisy garland – it has eight sales, then Sunflowers bunting – seven sales, and red Poppy bunting sold six times.

Two sales each have a Pumpkin garland and yellow Daffodils bunting, and white Daffodils garland has only one sale.

New Project

I have so many orders, that’s why there is no way to create something new for the shop. Still, I am trying very hard and here is the result of my trials – I will be knitting a modern dahlia garland. Different variations in the shape of the petals are possible – some will be round, others slightly oblong; some will have the middle filled in, others will be empty. And, of course, the colours will be different, based on the threads I have available. It’s all thanks to Tatiana Litke, whose video tutorial I used to make my dahlias.

Shipping

Yesterday I packed and shipped orders to the USA: cities of Arvada, Colorado and Dublin, Virginia and today to Stamford, Lincolnshire, UK. They were sunflowers, daisies and poppies garlands. Business is booming, so I am making more garlands again. The packing looks like the picture in my house. I use several types of stickers: the small white ones are my favourite, I ordered them a lot in the UK for my old shop, and I still use them (I won’t throw them away), and the big brown ecological ones I ordered locally in Poland, I don’t like them very much. As soon as I finish them, I will purchase new ones in the UK with a new shop name. I made The stickers as arrows made by myself and stick the box so that the customer knows how to open it. I am proud of these stickers. What is your opinion about them? And at the end, I always tie the box with the threads that I used for crocheting the garland.

White Daffodils Garland

I finally finished it – a garland of white daffodils. It will be listed in the CrochetCabinetCrafts this evening and for now, you can admire it here. The bunting consists of 9 3D white flowers with a yellow centre each and can be a reminder of the beautiful spring that is now giving way to summer. There will be new garlands in my shop in the summer. I won’t say what it will be, but I can hint to you that I have an idea for one garland in green and another in orange. Have you guessed yet?

Crochet Daffodils Garland

Finally, my daffodil garland is ready. The season for these flowers is already ending, although they are still blooming in my small garden. It was my yellow daffodils with a dark yellow centre that was my inspiration for making this garland. I love these flowers for their fragility, delicacy, smell and for the fact that they are a symbol of spring, just like tulips, of course. But crochet tulips and connecting them into a garland is quite difficult, although I can’t stop thinking about it and quite possibly I’ll figure out how to do it better. But while I’m working the details out, the daffodils are taking over.

And this is how the garland looks hanging on the wall.

Daffodils

I’ve devoted a lot of time to create this beautiful spring flower – the daffodil. It is going to be my new garland, not typical because without leaves, crochet only with flowers. I’ve crocheted only one flower as far and am going to create the new bunting this weekend because we have Monday free of work and celebrate Constitution Day. Unfortunately, the weather forecast says that there will be a cold and rainy weekend, so I plan to spend more time with my crocheting.
