Fox

We’ve just started a new series of wildlife patterns – foxes. The first one is a Fox in Autumn or a Fox in the Fall, due to November – still autumnal month. It’s so cute, isn’t it?

Foxes are found all over the world — in North America, Europe, Asia, and even North Africa. These animals are very social and live flexible lives. They live in forested areas. What is interesting – foxes are usually monogamous, so they have only one mate for life. They also take on nannies to help with their pups. The nannies are female foxes that are not breeders. Foxes can identify each other’s voices, just like humans and they also have excellent hearing. In folklore, foxes are typically characterized as cunning creatures sometimes having magical powers.

Crowntail Betta Fish

A new counted cross stitch pattern at the shop and this is Crowntail Betta Fish or simply known as Betta is a popular species of freshwater fish. It is also known as the Siamese fighting fish or the Betta spenders. The ancestors of this fish are believed to be native to the rice paddies of Thailand and Cambodia. This colorful fish is very much in demand because of their beautiful structure and moreover, they are easy to breed. However, if you don’t have or can’t have an aquarium at home and take care of this beautiful fish, you can cross stitch it and watch on the picture every day. This is the third chart of the fish in our shop and we hope not the last one.

Mouse and Pumpkin

Halloween coming! What is more – the next 2020 year is a Rat year by Chinese Calendar. As we all know, a mouse is the younger sister of a Rat, so we start to listing Mice Cross Stitch Charts at our shop. The first is Halloween Mouse with Pumpkin, the next one will be Autumn Mouse, so keep following us to see the other mice.

Update

Hello, my dear readers. I hope you’re fine. I wasn’t here for a long time but I was creating and boosting a new site on Facebook.  You know, it takes a lot of time. Today we have our 100th like on Facebook and I can return here. By the way, the site is Stitchesandquills

Some days ago I received a lovely magazine which I bought long enough on this site and I’d like to introduce it to you. This is Margaret Sherry Cross Stitch Collection from Classic Craft Series with 74 charts inside. “This collection, showcasing some of Margaret Sherry’s best work, was selected with her family’s continued support”, – write an editor Fiona Baker. “Margaret Sherry had an undeniable talent for illustration – with just a few carefully placed lines she breathed personality and an enduring sense of fun into her characters. It’s no wonder Margaret’s colourful illustrations made her a favourite with fans around the world.” Margaret herself in an interview, which is in the magazine, said, that in her understanding people love her design so much because of an “expression, emotion and humour” was a natural part of all her characters, which “give the ‘feel-good factor’ to the onlooker.” And that’s the truth. I love all her characters – mice, cats, bears, hares, foxes, hedgehogs, dogs and etc and now I just have them in one place. What more could you want? As for me, that’s enough! I must add, that in the magazine you find Alphabet chart set, cut-out papers for making postcards, a guide to beginners cross-stitchers and original artwork & interview with this great artist – Margaret Sherry.
