Waxwing in Progress

We have a long weekend here in Poland. Two of my last orders are completed and are waiting for the Post office will be open tomorrow. Thus, I have some time to stitch and show you the progress on Waxwing. The pattern consists of 23 solid colours and 18 blends. That takes a lot of time to embroider the body of the bird. Otherway you can see all shades are changing from one to another. And yes, it is difficult to stitch with blends, but believe me, it is worth doing that.

Waxwings

I didn’t cross stitch from February as I had so many orders. I only crochet, crochet, and crochet my garlands. Now customers do not purchase any of them. It is not well for my earnings, but on the other hand, I have some free time and can get back to cross stitch. I choose the Waxwing cross stitch pattern from our shop because I need to stitch a gift for a lovely Lady from Edinburgh. Her hobby is birdwatching. I read yesterday that Waxwings sometimes occurred in one of the parks in Edinburgh last winter. I hope she enjoys the gift. I decided to stitch this beautiful bird on Iridescent Ewenview 32 count. And I promise to show you the progress and the final framed stitching.

July – August Slavic Horoscope

People born on 10 July – 10 August have their Slavic Horoscope sign – Snail. People born under the sign of snails are endowed with sensitivity. They are a very delicate and accurate sense of other people, good and can listen to them for hours. People can sometimes be willing to be deceived. Do you know someone with this personality trait?

New Pattern

Sometimes you guys ask why there are so few new patterns in our shop this time. The answer, unfortunately, is that our designer Serafima Abramova cannot work as before because she lives in Ukraine, in Dnipro city. It is a well-known fact that Russia attacked Ukraine, and Ukrainians have had to fight for their independence with weapons in their hands. People are dying there every day, not only military but civilians also. In the last few weeks, Dnipro has come under missile attacks by Russian artillery, which is also not conducive to peaceful work. Despite this, Serafima has been able to create a new fish cross stitch chart.

The Black Tetra cross stitch pattern is in Stithersland in the Fish section. 130 x 107 stitches. Finished size is 9,3 x 7,6 inches / 23,6 x 19,41 cm when sewn on 14-count Aida or 28-count Evenweave. Stitches used – whole cross stitch, half cross-stitch, and backstitch. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1264748951
