OMG! Summer Mouse by Serafima Abramova

Next project by Serafima Abramova Sal “Summer Mouse”. I stitched it on white 14 count Aida, using DMC thread. A bit complicated : 105 x 75 stitches, 22 thread colours plus their blends. Techniques: the whole cross stitch, half cross stitch, petit point cross stitch and back stitch. I enjoyed stitching this lovely creature, but frog visited me almost all the time. Maybe because I was the number 13 in this Sal πŸ™‚

It was Beth Clark’s idea to make hearts as a tribute to those who had lost their lives in a terror attack at the Manchester arena. So people from around the world started making hearts and sent them to Manchester. There are 18,735 of them now. On Monday, 5th of June, Beth and her team are going to fill the city with our hearts and with our love. These are my hearts for Manchester.
