After finishing this great Garden Sal by Durene Jones design, I was looking for a suitable square frame for a long time and could not find it. Since I really wanted to have this stitching on my desktop in front of me, I decided to frame it i a hoop until I could find a suitable frame for it. What do you think about this way of finishing cross stitch projects?

The third part of Durene Jones Garden Sal is ready and it is a Hare this time 🐰🐇

Update on Woodland Sal – Otters are ready. They are so cute, aren’t they? Can’t wait to stitch the next part. But the main rule of each Sal is that you get each part separately, once a month, and you don’t know what will happen next. You can only guess – whether it’s going to be a fox or a wolf, or maybe… well, what animal will be next?
Some time ago I started new cross stitch Sal from Kate by Durene Jones pattern. I ordered a pattern and a fabric because it was specially designed and dyed for this Sal. The first was Barn Owl, the second – Rabbit.
Then I stitched Weasel and Stag.
Unfortunately, then I took a break in stitching this Sal, because I decided to complete East Asian Inspirations Sal. So after the break, I came back to Woodland Sal and stitched next parties, not in the order: they are Badger and Deer.
Next was Frog, the central part and all the Sal looks like this way:

Two last parts I’ve stitched are these: Squirrel and Harvest Mice.
Now I can’t wait the next parts appear and we are discussing in our stitching group what they will be – Fox, Wolf, Hedgehog, or some more nice woodland animals. There will be three more animals here, so to be continued 🙂
Due to Covid-19 I’m on quarantine and working from home. That means I don’t have to go to companies and teach there, I just work on Skype, Messanger, Whatsapp etc. So I have more time for my hobby 🙂 Hence new ideas, for example, for summer bags – ecological, because made of cotton and reusable. I made linen for myself, now I make light turquoise and then there will be powder pink, which is already booked. Unfortunately, the Polish Post Office does not accept shipments abroad and I can only sell these bags on the local market, but I hope, that the situation will change for the better and you will be able to have a new shopping bag for the summer.
There was a beautiful sunny day on Sunday here, in Warsaw, and we had the impression that the summer had come back. It is an unexpected pleasure to get such a gift from nature in October. What’s more, I signed up for the workshop with Michalina Mruczek on this day, so the day was going to be wonderful. Michalina’s embroidery I admire on Instagram for a long time. The workshops took place in the centre of Warsaw, in Nowy Swiat street, in Zaradne, where I felt like at home. Coffee, tea, meringue – all this creates a very friendly workshop atmosphere. At the start, we got from Michalina Belfast linen fabric, a hoop, 3 needles, Instruction with examples of stitches, patterns for embroidery, mouline Anchor and hand-dyed mouline from Kasia Michalina explains all the secrets of embroidery very precisely and still shows everyone exactly how and what to do. My work – in pictures.
Here you can see how our class looked like before the workshops and pay attention – on the table are beautiful Michalina’s works! As I wrote in one of the previous posts, I have a kit from Michalina and I am going to use it! So, wait for the result 🙂
A new pattern at the shop now – this is Yellow Tit on the Taiwan Cherry Blossom – under this long name a beautiful exotic bird, sitting on a branch of a cherry blossom counted cross stitch chart hides.

I like to share with you a new cross stitch pattern created by Serafima Abramova – Mushroom House. Isn’t it cute?
