The last part of Woodland Sal by Durene Jones pattern, organised by Lakesideneedlcraft is ready and it was sweet Hedgehog 🦔. There are two pictures in order to show how backstitch brings stitching to life.
One more part of Durene Jones Woodland Sal is ready and there is a Fox, beautiful ginger Fox. What the next part will be? We’re all trying to guess, and we’re not doing it very well. All we have to do is wait…
Garden Sal by Durene Jones freebie pattern is ready now. I enjoyed every stitch as always, stitching Durene’s project. There is a birdhouse, a lot of birds and butterflies here. What is more, a bee, a hive and lots of flowers, hare and hedgehog, a garden gnome and mushroom…and a lot of sweet details. I used DMC thread by Durene’s key and Murano beige evenweave 32 count.
The third part of Durene Jones Garden Sal is ready and it is a Hare this time 🐰🐇
A few weeks ago Durene Jones published new Garden Sal as her weekly Friday freebie. Of course, I took part in it. This is the result of my work. There are the part of a border ( I hate stitch all the border straight away) and two parts – a birdhouse with a pink bird and three butterflies, and a beehive with sweet bee and flowers.
I used my favourite Murano evenweave 32 count and DMC thread for this stitching.
Update on Woodland Sal – Otters are ready. They are so cute, aren’t they? Can’t wait to stitch the next part. But the main rule of each Sal is that you get each part separately, once a month, and you don’t know what will happen next. You can only guess – whether it’s going to be a fox or a wolf, or maybe… well, what animal will be next?
Not so long ago I started one more Sal, although I promised myself that I would not start any new work until I had finished all the work I had started. But how could I help myself when Kate Worthington announced she was organizing a new Woodland Sal by Durene Jones pattern? And so, I can show you two parts of this Sal anyway: an Owl and a Rare.
The thread I used is DMC as always but the fabric was speciał created for this Sal. I use evenweave 32 count.
Today I’ve started a new project 3D Cottage SAL by Durene Jones pattern, I bougt on lakesideneedlecraft site. The house is crocheting on a plastic canvas, which I had at home, threads as always DMC. So far only one photo from the very beginning, soon I will show the first part – cottage front. Durene Jones is one of my favourite designer, so I expecting a lot of fun and joy stitching this house. This is the first 3 D project and I hope not the last one.
