My new creation – yellow Daffodils garland with leaves. The bunting is 210 cm / 83″ long. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1141038938/yellow-daffodils-with-leaves-crochet
My customers often inspire me to create new things. Like this time, a customer from the USA asked me if I could crochet daffodils bunting with leaves. Why not? Some trials, and here it is. Nine yellow Daffodils with eight double lengthened leaves is what I am working on now.
Azure Tit on a Christmas Ball counted cross stitch pattern is in the shop now. Of course, I started stitching it on a plastic canvas immediately. See how nice it turns. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1122869626/christmas-bubble-with-bird-azure-tit
I’ve just put a new set of small crochet flowers and leaves in the shop. All flowers are made around one new colour of thread – raspberry, which officially is called red medium. And as always, I struggled with photos, trying to convey this beautiful colour.
New item – navy blue lace crochet choker with adjustable satin ribbon in our Etsy shop LaceCrochetFinds today evening. I’d like to remind you that this shop has a 20% discount for Black Friday!
I have so many orders, that’s why there is no way to create something new for the shop. Still, I am trying very hard and here is the result of my trials – I will be knitting a modern dahlia garland. Different variations in the shape of the petals are possible – some will be round, others slightly oblong; some will have the middle filled in, others will be empty. And, of course, the colours will be different, based on the threads I have available. It’s all thanks to Tatiana Litke, whose video tutorial I used to make my dahlias.
When I crocheted this collar, I wasn’t quite sure I’d chosen the right colour thread. But when I finished it and framed it with a darker ribbon, I was pleased with my choice. The collar looks very stylish and elegant. It can adorn any outfit, especially if a pale blue is your colour.
I have so many new items started, but what can I do if I have a million ideas in my head? Some time ago, I decided to crochet a new/old collar – new by its colour and known by the pattern. I have one on LaceCrochetFinds in cream colour, and a new one is in a pale blue. I’d also like to crochet cuffs to it, but as far I can’t come up with fastening. The collar tied with satin ribbon, but what about the cuffs? Maybe I need to change the design and use a pearl button instead. By the way, this design is one of my favourites.
Etsy has died totally, but I am trying to add new items as far as I can. Crocheting this ruffle collar took me a lot of time because of a tiny thread (DMC No 20) and a tiny hook – Clover No 1. Fortunately, I am a stubborn person, so I finished it. All I need now is to fasten the collar and iron it. Then, of course, I show it to you 🙂
