Yesterday I put into my shop very long scarf, hand knit from 100% hand dyed Italian merino wool. The shawl is unique – one of a kind – because it is imposible to repeat the colours of the wool. I bought it during “Drutozlot” in Toruń, where a lot of yarn producers were prezenting their threads, from very talented artist from Gliwice . The wool is so soft and warm that you want to wrap yourself in it and never go out again 🙂 What is more, my favourite colours were used in it’s dyeing : teal, turquoise, light blue , foggy white with some purple spots too. The scarf is very stylish, and modern, suitable for a person living in a big city as well as in the countryside. The lenght of the shawl is 2 metres 6 cm, width – 68 m. It took me 65 hours to knit this shawl!
Shawl is made of 500 grams of wool. There are still 3 more skeins of 100 gr each, so I’m going to make an Arrow scarf out of them. So, shawls topic to be continued 🙂
