I am glad to show you two new items in LaceCrochetFinds. They are pretty similar chokers. The difference is in colours. One is a tiny red choker with Irish crochet red rose, tied with red satin ribbon. The second one is black with Irish crochet red rose, fastened with a “disco” style sparkling black button. I wish I had never written this post. Unfortunately, I have to. This week I received another shipment of threads, which I usually order on Allegro or from private companies. I was shocked to find that the yarn I use for crocheting has gone up by 40% compared to January this year. Sadly, I have no option left, only to increase the price of my finished products least by 20%. The discount for regular customers remains the same as before – 10%. I will raise the prices gradually so that the Etsy platform does not suspend my shops, and you have the chance to buy some of my products at the old price for a while. I apologise for such a weekend message, but I have no control over the thread I use for crocheting prices.

I’m working on a new order – a garland with a yellow and orange trumpet, thinking about how to finish the backstitch in the bird and how to make at least four more snowflakes for the new garland, and here comes a new order for a choker. The choker is not pictured because I haven’t started making it yet. How am I going to get everything done at once?
All I need to complete the last order is in the photo: black thread Maxi Madame Tricote, Clover hook 1,25 mm nr 4, scissors I bought in Edinburgh, Clover needle, and black satin ribbon. By the way, my favourite choker is navy blue, what is your choice?

I often show you new reviews on my products here. These are usually 5-star reviews. But life isn’t always that great. Unfortunately, sometimes we sellers get this type of feedback as well. The client didn’t respond to my suggestion to find a way out of this situation, and I thought a single review of this type from a shop practically killed it. The first shipping 2022 year consisted of three packages: two orders were from the UK and the third one from the USA. The biggest one was from Scotland, Dunblane, a small town situated not far from Stirling. There were three pieces in this parcel – a Poppy, white Daffodil and Christmas Trees buntings. The next order, Flower garland, was from Congleton, a city in southeast Cheshire, located about halfway between Manchester and Stoke. And the last order flew to New York City, there were two chokers, dark red and navy blue were in it. Thank you, girls, so much for supporting my small business!
